The Honiton ladies section met for their latest meeting on a day when the going was heavy and those stableford points were hard to come by, writes Andy Wagner.

That said, in Silver Division Janet Hughes and Tricia Swindell both came through with a respectable 32 points each with countback being called into play and that saw Janet edge Tricia into second spot.

Due to a smaller turn out than usual, Bronze Divisions One and Two were combined and this resulted in a win with 28 stableford points by Linda Blundell.

Second place went to Gill Johnson with 25 points while Stephani Barnes, who also scored 25, was edged into third on countback.

In the 9-hole stableford, Jennifer Pyle took top spot with a score of 11 points.
