Honiton ladies held a Christmas Fun competition, writes Liz Rogers.

Many of the ladies playing wore hats and tops in keeping with the festive spirit.

The format was three-ball better ball, over 14 holes, with the best two scores to count.

Taking first place were Chris Pearce, Linda Blundell and Carol Cole with 55 points.

Close behind, in second place, were Sue Ritchie, Lesley Oxenham and Stephani Barnes with 54 points.

There was also a hidden prize and this was for the best score on the second hole.

Hilda Hoepelman, Janet Hughes and Jan Lloyd claimed this prize with five points.
