Honiton captain Barry Dunn led Honiton Palairet team to the Finals Day at Thurlstone last Sunday, writes Andy Wagner.
In the morning semi-final we were drawn against a very competitive Torquay side, but managed to play through to a three-and-two success. The afternoon final was to be against Tavistock, but already our team had got further than we ever had before.
Whether these heady heights affected the players mentally we’ll never know, but Tavistock ran out four-and-one winners leaving Dunn and the team with the silver medal.
Congratulations to them all for another impressive landmark in the club’s team history.
