Honiton men travelled to Crediton Golf Club for their latest Dartmoor League Division two match, writes Liz Rogers.
They took on Okehampton in what was a play-off to decide who finished runners up in the division and gained promotion.
On the day a close fought match went the way of Okehampton.
However, all was not lost as, in their first year in the league, Honiton Golf Club did not come away empty handed.
They won a trophy for the best away record in the league!
