Honiton Netball players celebrate the club's recent double success

Honiton Netball Club has had double success this week.

The club, which has only been running for just under two years, has been awarded England Netball’s Bronze CAPS Accreditation .

This means the club is run and organised properly, volunteers are trained and CRB checked and the club links with local schools.

It has taken a lot of hard work to complete the process and the club would like to thank all the players, parents and volunteers for their support.

Also the sponsors, AG Signs of Honiton who printed handbooks for the players and Dukes of Sidmouth who have helped with new kit coming soon for our growing membership.

The second roun dof great news was league success for the Under-14 A team who have qualified for the county round of the national club competition.

They will now go on to the county tournament on February 10, and compete with the top teams from the rest of the county for a place in the regional round.

Also the players of the league who are nominated by officials after each fixture were both from Honiton Netball Club, Ellie Marok was chosen for the U14 age group and Charlotte Yorke for the U13 age group.
