Honiton openers Brian Cann and Kev Kelly put on a century for the opening wicket for the second week running.
Cann (75) and Kelly (55) gave their side a great start in a successful run chase that saw Honiton take 20 points from their D Division East derby with Kilmington.
The home side were indebted to a splendid 91 from Matt Rockett in their offering of 194 all out. Kelly claimed three wickets for 20 runs and then joined Cann to make sure the chase got the best possible start.
Both Cann and Kelly lost their wickets and two more fell before the Mountbatten Park men sealed a third win of the season to set things up nicely for this Saturday’s meeting with table-topping Whimple!
