Honiton Raptors 14, Tiverton 5 Honiton Raptors Under-12s, with 13 players on duty, put in a technically disciplined and totally committed performance to play an excellent game of rugby against a physical Tiverton side.
Honiton started well and opened the scoring with a Matt Webb try that followed a succession of passes down the back line. Dominic Bernhardt converted, and Tiverton were anxious to get the score level.
They succeeded in with a try, and whilst the opposition were attempting conversion, Honiton were already regrouping ready for the next off. This came in the form of another try for Honiton, this time from Sam Webb, which was also converted by Bernhardt. Play continued with every single Honiton player doing so consistently well, the man of the match award was given to them all. This was an excellent and well deserved victory.
