Honiton Running Club’s Olivia runs well in Bakewell, Derbyshire

Honiton Running Club member Olivia Higginson did the Monsal Trail 10km in Bakewell, Derbyshire, writes Judy Davey.

It is raced alongside a half marathon too. With the Monsal Trail being an old railway line, it was lovely and flat and the half way point was in a tunnel with this being the point where runners were turned around.

Olivia was in Derbyshire for a wedding and due to the clocks changing it was an early start.

She finished as the fourth placed female, running a new Personal Best for this year of 53 minutes and 33 seconds.
