Honiton’s Ha Ha competition reaches last 16

Whilst half the Honiton members battled through another round of the Ha Ha knock out cup the other half entertained themselves with a friendly stableford competition to keep their game honed, writes Andy Wagner.

I say friendly but there was nothing friendly about the winning scores.

Andy Wagner managed to keep his nose in front on count back with 41points ahead of Jonno Barker and Richard Beard.

Admittedly the course was shortened due to several temporary greens, but the day’s scoring seemed to be on the high side over all.

The Ha Ha competition (a foursomes knockout event) has reached the last 16 stage with some notable names still plugging away.

Ed and Richard Reece caught the eye but the dark horse father and son team of Ian and Hayden Banfield look hard to beat.
