Honiton’s Jasmine Stone runs well for Devon

Honiton Junior Running Club’s Jasmine Stone took part in the Southwest Schools’ Cross Country Championships at Cheltenham, writes Judy Davey.

Jasmine was running for Devon and conditions after all the recent rain were certainly on very wet and muddy under foot side!

Jasmine ran well, finishing 21st overall and the fourth runner home out of as team of 10 which helped Devon into second place out of the seven counties competing.

Kyle Hartnell took part in the intermediate boys’ race and came 37th. George Tomkins did well to come 32nd helping the Devon junior boys’ to win over the other Counties.

All races had 66 finishers.
