Exeter Saracens 15, Honiton 43 The Lacemen were good value for a comprehensive win in Exeter.
A one-sided contest was effectively over inside ten minutes with Honiton crossing the home whitewash no fewer than three times!
Josh Barrett, who was to go on and produce the Man of the Match performance, crossed twice and Ollie cave also bagged a try. A Callum Hill try put the lacemen further ahead, but the home side gave themselves some hope at the break with two late first half tries.
Saracens began the second period on the front foot, but the Honiton defence stood firm and the lead was extended when Josh Rice ran clear to score the visitors’ fifth try.
Both Rice lads scored again to see Honiton to a seven try triumph.
