The club met at the Conservative Club in Honiton where they hosted a First Aid Evening.

The club’s Mike Spiller says: “We wanted to do something a little different and came up with the First Aide idea to show members how easy it really is to be able to offer help to someone in the event of an emergency.”

He continued: “We would like to think some of our members now have the confidence to have a go if the need arises. We were also, at our recent meeting, able to decide to donate some money to the project in Honiton to get some defibrillators around the town,”
