Honiton senior success for Mike Stroud

There was a relatively short field competing in the Honiton seniors’ monthly medal - perhaps some are concerned for their handicaps, writes Liz Rogers.

The winner of Division One was Mike Stroud who scored a fine net 68, with John Kerr the runner-up.

Alan Pollock, Malcolm Matthews and John Fleetwood took the remaining prizes, separated only on countback.

Phil Faulkner in Division Two won the day with a net 67 to claim the trophy tankard.

He was followed by Bob Underwood, Howard Pritchard, George Smith and Rod Armitage.
