Honiton senior success for Ritchie

There were 62 Honiton seniors’ that contested their monthly medal in lovely sunny weather, writes Liz Rogers.

Paul Ritchie won Division One with a net 67 and was presented with the winner’s tankard.

Jim Wallis was runner-up on countback, followed by Ted Chandler, Malcolm Matthews and Peter Clarke.

Howard Pritchard won Division Two with a net 68.

Ian Orford was runner-up on 69. Buzz Harris and Tony Proudfoot scored 70, along with John Ayland who took the last prize. Captain Mike Watts also presented the Ken Beake trophy to the winner of the Winter Eclectic competition, Dave Maggs.
