Honiton senior success for Roger Matthews, Peter Blake and John Ward

The Honiton seniors’ section saw 19 teams of three compete in a Seniors Texas Scramble, writes Liz Rogers.

Winners were Roger Matthews, Peter Blake and John Ward with an excellent net 60.3.

The runners-up were Ron Graham, Howard Pritchard and Fred Thomas who returned a score of 61.8.

Third place went to the trio of Andy Sharland, John Bevan and Robert Canterbury and the final threesome amongst the prizes were Pat Purtell, Bob Bilyard and Ron Rogers.
