The Stan Parker Cup is an annual match between Exeter and Honiton which has been taking place since the mid-1970s, writes Liz Rogers.
It is competed for on a home and away basis and is made up of six teams (12 players).
It was won in 2012 by Exeter and retained by them from that time because every match since then has been a draw!
However, the 2015 competition saw the Honiton seniors secure a narrow three-and-a-half to two-and-a-half success at Exeter to set up an intriguing return meeting at Honiton.
The home side prevailed in the home encounter to secure an overall 8-4 victory which means that the Stan Parker Cup resides once more in the Honiton clubhouse.
Another very popular Seniors Open competition welcomed 160 players from clubs from around the South West.
Texas Scramble was the format of the day and Royal North Devon visitors had the winning score of 60.6.
Home team Mike Watts (Honiton seniors captain), Jim Wallace and Tony Williams were hot on their heels with a score of 60.8.
