With the new skittles season only just around the corner the ConClubs Shells Belle’s took time out to celebrate probably their most successful season to date in the Honiton Skittles League, writes Andrew Meecham.

The ladies were crowned Division Three champions and they also won the Divisional (John Richie) Cup whilst tow of their number retained the Ladies Pairs title.

Elsewhere, the ConClubs A team are set to return to the top division and captain, Colin Mees, once heralded ‘probably the best skittler in Honiton’, said: “It is where we truly belong.”

The Honiton Skittles League 2013/14 campaign kicks off on September 4 with a round of preliminary KO Cup matches followed by the First Round of the Divisional Cups a week later.
