Honiton ladies section had 27 ladies on the course playing a stableford competition, writes Liz Rogers.
The weather remained fine and dry, but many players found it heavy going which was reflected in the scores.
In the Silver Division, Jane Watts came top out of six players with a score of 30 points.
In Bronze Division One there were 16 players and Diana Gee defied the conditions, coming home with the best score of the day, 35 points. In second place was Brenda Hyde with 30 points. Third prize was taken by Cathy Uttley with 29 points. The last two prizes went to Linda Blundell and Joan Smith.
In Bronze Division Two, Jan Lloyd came top out of five players with 30 points.
