HHHC 2, Chard 6

Despite finishing second in the summer league played at Ottery St Mary, the Hornets took a while to get into their stride, whereas the visitors from Dorset seemed to be on the ball from the opening whistle.

Chard were restricted to scoring four goals in the first half by the expert goal keeping of Sue Stone.

A minute into the second half, Honiton's Sophie George scored after receiving the ball from a penalty corner pass. Chard added two more goals. In the final five minutes George scored again from a sharp angle.
