Dan Clarke, a member of Honiton Swimming club, competed in the ASA British Gas National Masters Swimming event, held at the Sheffield International Arena- a 50metre, 10 lane Olympic pool, writes Janet Bargmann.

Clarke, who raced in the 50 metre breastroke, came 23rd overall in his age group, and witnessed a British Record fall in the race.

This was amongst two world records, six European records, and over one hundred British records achieved during the three-day event!
