Honiton Swimming Club had 11 representatives at the Dawlish & Dinnaton open, held in Plymouth, Duncan B, Ellen B, Isabel B-G, Lily & Lacey F, George B, Hamish M, Ryan R, Katie S and Hope T.
The swimmers performed very well, achieving many new PB's, medals and quite a few Devon County Qualifying Times.
Guest swimmers at the Gala (who took part in some of events), were Olympic, World, Commonwealth champion and record holder Chad Le Clos and British, European, Commonwealth and Olympic finalist, Max Litchfield and their team.
This was very exciting for all swimmers who were given an opportunity to compete against them, with Honiton swimmers, Duncan B, Ellen B and Ryan R, selected to compete with them in the 50m Backstroke event They were thrilled to be given the opportunity and performed very well.
