Perry Street 5, Honiton Terrors 1 Honiton Terrors Under-10s were well beaten on a sunny Sunday morning in an East Devon Youth League game.

Both teams made a bright start and Harvey Newton and Dominic McCreadie linked up well in attack for the Terrors who scored first when, after some good passing play, Matt Bevis found the back of the home net.

The Perry Street response was good and they equalised despite brave play from Zac Harrison and Jordan Harrison. The Honiton confidence was knocked back by the equaliser and the hosts took advantage to net two more before half-time. Honiton made a good start to the second half with Louie Stamp and Connor Harrison battling hard in defence and Joseph Charlton and James Pring looking confident going forward. Harry Horn was tested regularly in goal and made several important saves, but even with Jacob Fisher passing the ball well Honiton could not get another goal whilst a strong home side did, scoring a couple more.

Harvey Newton and Matt Bevis shared the Honiton Man of the Match honours by showing great spirit today.
