Honiton Terrors Under-11s went down 6-2 when they entertained Perry Street, meeting them for the third time in four weeks, writes Dominic McCreadie-Taylor.

The Terrors’ cause was not helped by the conceding of an early goal. That blow did not see the team lose their heads though and they began to knock the ball round well with Zac Harrison and Dom McCreadie-Taylor linking well up front and Ewan Evans and Logan Tratt looking solid at the back.

Perry Street doubled their lead, but Terrors were quickly back in the match when Harrison played in McCreadie-Taylor and he tucked the ball away.

A strong Perry Street side threatened further goals and would surely have got them but for a superb display in the Terrors goal from Harry Horn who was also aided by some terrific tackling by Louie Stamp. With James Pring and Joseph Charlton industrious in midfield it was no more than Terrors deserved when McCreadie-Taylor levelled things up before half-time.

After the break it was even-steven for the first 15 minutes before tired legs crept into the Terror game! Perry Street took advantage and scored four more times to seal victory.

The Terrors’ Man of the Match award was shared by the trio of McCreadie-Taylor, Horn and Harrison for their hard work and massive contributions to a great team effort.
