Honiton Youth footballers, from the club’s Under-7s, 8s and 9s team’s were given the opportunity to unveil their new kit for the first time at St James Park on Saturday.

The teams took part in the half time penalty shoot out competition during the Grecians 3-0 League Two home win over Crewe Alexandria.

There were over 30 Town youngster son the hallowed turf and the players certainly looked smart ion their sponsored kits. This season the Under-7s and Under-9s are in kit sponsored by Howdens Joinery whole the Under-8s are in a kit sponsored by Paul Richards Motors. All three kits were purchased through Honiton Sports shop so it’s all very much a case of Town getting – and supporting – local business.

Honiton Town youth Under-8s coach David Broom said: “It was a fantastic opportunity for those involved to be part of a match day experience, and play in front of a crowd of 4,218, including some very proud mum’s and dad’s.

“Hopefully the experience will inspire the teams for the season ahead.”
