Honiton Town were dealing in the serious currency of goals on the middle Saturday of October with the senior Hippos side netting 10 in a whopping Macron League top flight win at Newton St Cyres and the third XI shared TEN with Tedburn at Mountbatten Park.
The first team haul included a hat-trick for the ‘once again outstanding’ Chris Long and a brace from Tom Perryman. The other scorers were Luke Barwick, Lewis Couch, Matty Long, Daniel Broom and Louis Grant.
Ryan Pike continued his great run of scoring in the third team with a hat-trick and Karl Allen scored the other two in the 5-5 draw with Tedburn.
Make sure of your copy of the Midweek Herald (out next on Wednesday, October 19) for post match comments from the Happy Hippos!
