Honiton Town’s South West Peninsula League (SWPL), Eastern Division, Good Friday home match against Ilfracombe Town has been subjected to a ground move.
The fixture was due to be played at Mountbatten Park with a 3pm kick-off, but the pitch is waterlogged and so the game will now be played at the Exeter home of Exwick Villa with a 3pm kick-off.
The post code for the Exwick Villa game is EX4 1EG.
Villa play on an artificial surface which is resistant to the heaviest of the rains and so will be fit for play, whatever the elements throw at it!

The game is part of the SWPL Groundhop and so was always going to attract a big crowd to Mountbatten Park as some 300 Groundhoppers are expected to attend. It is a blow to Town for the game would have meant healthy sales from refreshments and bar together with programme sales and matchday draws etc.
The first Groundhop game of the day is the 11amkick-off at Manstone Lane where Sidmouth Town meet Budleigh Salterton and the day ends with the 7pm kick-off at Tiger Way, Axminster where the home side entertain Crediton United.
