Honiton Town’s incredibly busy run-in saw them play three games in four days last week.
After a 2-1 home defeat to Exeter Civil Service they then lost 3-1 at home to Topsham Town, but it was a case of third time lucky as they the beat Pinhoe 3-1 at Mountbatten Park last Friday night.
Saturday’s results then left Town sitting fifth, ten points shy of the third placed team Beacon Knights who have played tow games more than them.
What’s more Town meet Beacon Knights twice in quick succession.
They entertain the Exeter-based side tonight (Wednesday) and then after Saturday’s home game with second placed Bickleigh, they travel to Beacon Knights next Monday.
