Honiton Town Youth Under-12s completed their action for 2014 with a stylish all-round display that saw then win 8-0 at Tedburn Rangers.

Despite the wet and muddy playing surface making football difficult, Honiton were soon into their stride and, once Caleb Freemantle opened the scoring, they dominated the game through to the final whistle.

Freemantle continued his continuing scoring spree to end with five goals and Ben Spence returned from his injury lay-off to hit a hat-trick, but what was especially pleasing was the way Honiton kept a well-deserved clean sheet.

The back three of Max Salter, Dan Loosemore and Laura-Beth Outram refused to give the home attackers any time or space and defended like lions.

Honiton return to football in the New Year with the visit of Lympstone Rangers.
