Sixteen hardy Honiton members set out to play a Greensome Stableford competition with four clubs and a putter, writes Andy Wagner.
However, the rough weather rolled in so the competition was reduced to 10 holes. Obviously on very good form, the winners, with an excellent score over the 10 holes of 28 points, were Stephanie Barnes playing with Allan Seager.
In second place with 23 points were Jane Watts and David Hughes.
After the results were announced Jennifer and Richard Pyle then presented the Tuesday Mixed Golfer of the Year trophy to Su Calver who scored 30 pts with runner-up Bob Barnes scoring 29.
