Honiton Tuesday Mixed joy for foursome

Despite the continued weather woes, normal service was resumed last week for the Honiton Tuesday Mixed meeting, writes Ann Desmoulins.

The section was able to enjoy their first 18-hole competition of the year and, thanks to the hard-working greens staff, most of the tees, and greens, were in play.

The competition was a team event with the best lady’s score and the best man’s score to count.

The winning team of Sue Ritchie, Penny Blackburn, Paul Ritchie and John Frith recorded a very respectable score of 72 points.
