The Tuesday Mixed section ran a par of competitions with the same foursomes stableford format, writes Liz Rogers.
Alongside the mixed Foursomes Stableford competition was the re-arranged Flitch Foursomes competition.
The latter is for married couples only and the format can be quite testing! However, a happy, albeit wet, afternoon was enjoyed by all and 34 players entered either one or both competitions.
All the winners were married couples who had entered both competitions.
Finishing top of the pile were Catherine and Charlie Doherty with 39 points.
In second place were Heather and Peter Clarke with 38 points and third spot went to Sue and Paul Ritchie with 37 points whilst fourth place went to Elizabeth and Ken Wood who had 36 points and a better back nine than their nearest rivals.
