Honiton Tuesday Mixed success for foursome

Better weather on Tuesday allowed the Honiton mixed group to get out onto the course and contest a four-ball team event, writes John Pawley.

The format was any two stableford scores to count.

Of the six teams that took past it was the foursome of Di and Phil Wall, Joan Smith and John Frith, who came first with a score of 83 points.

The runners-up, with 81 points, were Sue and Paul Ritchie, Vicki Rogers and Barry Rogers.
