Honiton Tuesday Mixed group organised a Texas Scramble meeting in a bid to work around the on-going course improvements, writes John Pawley..
The course was reduced to 17 holes, all with temporary greens, but these challenges clearly suited Sally and Tom Chapman with Rose Whiteley and Garth Millard who achieved an excellent score of 58.
Second place went to Di and Phil Wall playing with Maureen and Laurie Tollemache with a score of 60.4.
