Honiton 0, Twyford Barca 3 Honiton Under-10 Devil’s lost their top-of-the-table clash with a slick Barca team.
Devils began brightly with Sam Foster and Zac Harrison doing well in the middle third. Dominic McCreadie-Taylor was lively as the lone striker, but, despite plenty of possession and a number of chances, Devils were unable to find a goal. With what proved to be their only shot on goal of the half the visitors netted to take a narrow lead into the break.
In the second half table-topping Barca found a higher gear scoring twice more as a valiant Devils side began to tire.
Connor Brown was named the Devils Man of the Match for his commitment and defiant attitude.
Devils boss Sean Brown said: “I honestly could not have asked for more from the boys on the morning. It shows how far they have come this season already. Individually and collectively they delivered in all areas and against the team at the top of the table. They can all be so proud of themselves.
