Both Honiton FC U9s teams were in action over the weekend, playing great football despite the cold weather.
Demons first drew 0-0 with West Hill working very hard and then came up against a strong CS Pumas side when they were 5-0 by half time but raised their game second half to lost 6-0 at full time.
The Devils started slowly against Pumas and went 2-0 down before pressing for their own strikes, losing 3-0 at full time.
In their second match they came up against West Hill and enjoyed end to end play in the first half, both sides in search of the winner.
After the break, Sam put Devils ahead and the side had to withstand a strong West Hill side who challenged for the leveller. This was a real team effort, the whole team getting the Man of the Match. Both teams are starting to see the benefits of working together and encouraging each other really pays off.
