Instructor’s pride in kickboxing team’s performance

FIVE members of the Brit-Axe Kickboxing Club took part in the South East martial arts championships.

FIVE members of the Brit-Axe Kickboxing Club took part in the South East martial arts championships.

Jonathon Day, Dom Tait, Matthew Wales, Roy Hutter and instructor Steve Reynolds all took part in the competition with Dom reaching the quarter finals in the Combat Jujitsu event and Matthew coming in second in the Kata round.

Steve said: "We had a good day - everyone did very well and I'm very proud of all of them.

"Brit-Axe Kickboxing club is based at the Axe Valley Sports Centre in Axminster and welcomes all abilities.

"Some people come to keep fit, others like to compete, and we have a good mix of abilities both male and female.

"We train in a safe and friendly environment."
