THE U13s were at home to Allhallows and, playing upfield in the first half, made hard work of things but still managed to cross the whitewash three times to the visitors' one.

The second half was a different story as they put the opposition to the sword. The final score was 63-7, with tries all round. Usanah Elmagahdy and Ben Kidson got a hat-trick each with Richard Webber and Finn Parrot getting a brace. George Hatherway also scored one and there were conversions shared round.

Shaun Summers had a good game at nine but Elmagahdy was Man of the Match.

THE U12s travelled over to Chard and, in a rather one sided game, ran out comfortable winners, 42-7. Dion Warner and Ben Morris led the way with a brace of tries each. Angus Meadows and Liam Crawford got one each with Lewis Groves knocking over five conversions and Stuart Clapp also kicking one. Ben Willis was Man of the Match.

Also at Chard the U11s dished out a similar score. Ellie got things off to a good start with a well-worked try. Luke Chambers scored two first half tries and Charlie Wright got one as well as kicking three conversions for a 24-7 lead.

The second half followed a similar vein - Wright added two more tries to his tally and Colt "Buster" Bright got his first club try. This was a good all-round team performance as Honiton won the day 45-12.

The U10s played two games and won both also at Chard. In the first, they scored five tries to run out 25-5 winners and, in a much closer second game, won 10-0. There were tries for Ben and Sam Phillips, Joe Whitworth and Jack Katene and Oliver Perez got two. The Honiton lads all performed well in both outings but Shaun Monkhouse was Man of the Match. Coach Woolacott was very pleased with his U9s team performance as they beat Chard by 35-10. Jacob Wright helped himself to four tries, Ryan Woolacott got two, but try of the day went to Jake Mathews, as he dotted down a score that when through several sets of hands.

Ryan Borowski won the Man of the Match honours for his defensive tackling.
