Although Mona Carter has been a member at Honiton Golf Club for more than 30 years, she still has a true determination to be the best she can be when it comes to playing competitive golf.

2021 has proven no different for Mona, she has just managed to win the Duncan Trophy competition for the 8th time in her golfing career, her first win being in 1993!
The latest round was a match against Kathy de Lacy, with Lesley Oxenham acting referee. A very close game, going down to the last putt, on the last hole. This summer knock out trophy competition, played for in the form of match-play, was first presented to the club by Mrs Duncan in 1934.

The Seniors Held their September Medal with Paul Ritchie taking the honours in Div 1 with a Net 70, followed by David Hughes and Max Pipe coming 2nd and 3rd on countback. The best score of the day came in Div 2, with Mike Watts shooting a 67, second was Barry Simms 71 and 3rd Bob Graham 72.
