Just two Honiton Netball League games beat the weather

PUBLISHED: 08:10 19 December 2012 | UPDATED: 14:46 19 December 2012

Owing to icy weather at Honiton the courts were deemed not to be safe and only two first division games at Colyton took place, writes Graham Ingram.

Flamingos were in action against Tip Top Trees whilst OPG met the Weather Girls. OPG moved up into second place thanks to their win over the Met Office, for whom Sophie Littlejohn had a fine game.

Harriet Eaton was the OPG star in their 40-22 victory.

Flamingos maintained their 100 per cent winning record, whilst for Tip Top Trees they are still looking for their first point of the season after 9 games.

Flamingos had Karen Hall in fine shooting form and at quarter time they were 13-3 ahead. By half way it was 23-8 and although Molly Simpson did well for 3Ts they couldn’t get close to Flamingos who ran out winners by 40-12.
