Keech claims second place in the Faldo World Series in West Virginia, USA.

Axminster golfing star Sophie Keech has been in action in the Faldo World Series at the Greenbrier in West Virginia, USA.
The teenager, who plays her golf at Parkstone Golf Club, Dorset, was up against a world class field of 102 finalists competing for the world final across the globe.
After the first round Keech was leading the ladies Under-21 section by one shot having played one of Americas toughest courses with exceptionally difficult greens, very well.
After the second day the teen sat second and went into the final round two shots behind the leader.
Playing in freezing conditions, with snow falling, the youngster excelled on the final day to claim second place!
Keech said: “It was the most incredible experience playing at the Greenbrier from the hotel to the stunning course in autumn with the expertise and daily sessions from Nick Faldo himself! It was certainly the perfect end to my 2013 season.”
The youngster has recently returned from her invitation to play in the Telegraph and BMW final at Quinta da Lago where she achieved a very creditable fourth place on countback .
Keech will spend some of the winter months away training with the England Team after being selected for the England performance squad, and training with her Pro Karen Nicholls at Millfield School preparing for the 2014 season.
