Lyme Regis bowlers bag sweet revenge over Axminster

It’s been a busy week for friendlies after a week off during the Lyme Regis Tournament, writes Paul Moffitt.

Lyme managed to win three and draw one, including revenge against Axminster after the mauling dished out by the earlier in the campaign on their green!

The ladies have had a week off from league duty but, both Lyme One and Lyme Two were in action.

Lyme One had a good 8-2 result against Bridport, although still need a few 10-0 results in the run in if they are to stay ahead of Melcombe Regis. Lyme Two were unlucky to only get two points against Wellworthy, losing as they did, by just four shots overall.

In the County Double Rink competition against Wellworthy, Lyme men were narrowly beaten by two shots
