Lyme Regis ladies played their flag competition, writes Richard Jackman.
The format for this competition is one where players start their round of golf with an allocation of shots – usually par plus their handicap - and play until that shot allocation runs out, placing a flag or marker indicating how far into the course they went.
On the 16 hole layout, Ronny Turner putted her last shot on the last hole to see it run agonisingly past.
Jane Dixon had played some consistent golf, mastering the conditions very well and had already secured the putt, so won by the narrowest of margins.
