The Lyme Regis junior order of merit was won by Ben Prosser who hit a stunning net 63 to send his handicap tumbling down and win comfortably, writes Richard Jackman.

Second, with an excellent 67 was Josh Wheadon with Dominic Beardwood third with 74.

In the October stableford it was a family affair as father Matt Searle came first in Division One with 41 points from Geoff Pontefract 39 points and third was Keith Gibson with 39 points.

Matt’s son and new junior captain Brad Searle just won Division Two on countback from Simon Leech both with 44 points and Rob Crabbe in third place with 40.

The midweek stableford was won by David Allen with 40 points from Rob Clapp 38 and Gary Vaughan 37.

New ladies captain Caroline Baker started her reign well, winning the ladies fun bowmaker in partnership with Emma Davies and Sarah Hampton-Rumbold.
