Lyme Regis ladies bank ten league points
It’s mostly good news on the league front with, both the ladies with 10 points and the men in Division One with eight points that do their relegation woes no harm at all, writes Paul Moffitt.
Unfortunately, the championship side only managed two points from their last two games so, barring a miracle, will be playing in Division One next season.
The ladies also contested the first round of the June Culpin trophy against Greenhill. The home team put on a brave show, but were not quite good enough, against strong opposition, on the day.
In the only friendly, against Somerton, Lyme only managed to win on one rink and thus were well beaten.
