Lyme Regis ladies enjoy good week

In the league the Lyme Regis ladies have had a busy week and a successful one, writes Paul Moffitt.
They opened up with a fine 8-2 win against Greenhill at home on Tuesday before travelling to Branksome Park the following day from where they returned with a further seven points.
In the men’s league, Lyme One played the in-house derby match against Lyme Two.
This should have been 10 points for Lyme One, but Paul Pomeroy’s rink went walkabout in the last few ends and threw away a good lead! However, 8-2 is still a good result and keeps them in charge of proceedings in Division One.
In the South Dorset League, Lyme were unfortunate to gain only four points from their game at Portland BO despite winning on two rinks.
In the one friendly played, Lyme were 110-69 winners over Ottery St Mary.
