Lyme Regis ladies enjoyed a full game with the new bunkers and the course fully in play for their ladies’ stableford and MacMillan Spoon meeting, writes Richard Jackman.
Leading the way in Division One was this year’s captain, Susan Moore, as she carded the best score of the day with 37 points, picking up four well-earned three pointers in the first nine, to win by seven points, which was indicative of her excellent performance.
In second place with 30, as she could not maintain the good start, was Judith Williams, while Gilly Madill improved on the back nine to finish third on 29 points.
Division Two was won by Sheila Claringbold with 31 points as she really upped her game with a super back nine holes which included four points on the tricky 12th hole.
Ros Clemmans again showed her improving game as she started with a four point hole to come second with 30 points, just beating third-placed Debbie Shinners on countback.
