The Lyme Regis ladies came unstuck this week, losing all 10 points at home to Broadstone in the Dorset League Div 1, writes Paul Moffitt.

In the South Dorset League, the men had a good 8-2 result against Greenhill B who are the current league leaders.

The club’s trip to Cardiff resulted in a bit of a hiding, with only Paul Pomeroy’s rink returning home with a win.

The club fared better in their away game at South Petherton, winning three of the four rinks.

Division One of the West Dorset Men’s League gets going again this coming week after a two week hiatus.

With the title in their pocket already, Lyme One now have nothing to prove. On the other hand, Lyme Two need to press hard in their remaining games to keep clear of the ‘drop’ zone being, as they are, only one off the bottom.
