Mark Lewis and Chris Brice have been on top form during May and the monthly medal was no exception, writes Richard Jackman.

Mark Lewis was on top of the pile with three gross birdies including consecutive holes 15 and 16 in his three under par 68 to maintain his stunning form.

There were seven players on 69, but on countback, Keith Gibson came second with a blistering back nine of one under gross par. Chris Brice earnt bronze with his three under nett par on the back nine which included a gross birdie on the last hole.

The ladies ran a successful open on Thursday so played no competition, but for the juniors their stableford was a closely contested affair with Casey Gibbons winning on countback with 18 points on the back nine.

Second place went to Jevan Hampton-Rumbold while Joe Shrubb came third, two points behind on 29.
