David Page helped himself to three birdie twos, picking up 12 points which was a solid platform for winning Division One with 39 points, but with exactly the same score was Roger Turner, who finished in second place owing to David’s birdie on the last hole.
Andrew West was a close third on 38 points. Division Two belonged to Gary Vaughan, who had a steady front and back 9 to take first place with a well grafted 38 points, as he pushed Ken Lavery and Jim Pettifer into second and third place, Ken’s excellent 23 points on the back 9 was good enough to take the silver.
