Thirty-six points was a popular score in the Lyme Regis July stableford, writes Richard Jackman.
That was the score that saw Craig McGown win Division One.
His total, that included a hard-fought 20 points on the back nine. Was two better than Roger Seed who took second place on countback, with David Fidge taking third place with 35 points.
Division Two was won by Mark Colley with the highest score of the day – 38 points - as he struck a good back nine, finishing ahead of Les Bounds who took second on countback from Richard Cook, both on 36 points.
